​Welcome to BSA Troop 254 of New Palestine, IN

Scouts BSA Troop 254 serves New Palestine, Indiana and the surrounding communities. Troop 254 is a member of the Crossroads of America Council. Through our active scouts, parents, and leaders, we maintain a fun, safe environment that teaches our scouts the values and morals they need to become outstanding citizens in our community and nation. The troop is chartered by Cross of Grace Lutheran Church. The troop meets weekly and has monthly outings.

Adventure Awaits...

Adventure is our middle name! Camping, hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, rock climbing, swimming, kayaking, rifle shooting, archery, STEM activities, backpacking, sports, orienteering, fishing, snow skiing, campfire cooking are just some of what we do. We have had the opportunity to attend Space Camp in Huntsville, AL, navigated the Boundary Waters of Minnesota, camped in below freezing temperatures, zip-lined through caves, backpacked through some amazing state parks and we continue to find new amazing adventures all the time. In addition to our adventures, our scouts learn communication skills, leadership skills, environmental stewardship and they participate in service projects that benefit our local community and beyond.
